Rick Talbott is a distinguished Real Estate Broker based in the West and Southwest Portland, Oregon area. With twelve years of experience, Rick is a leading expert in residential and acreage real estate in the Pacific Northwest.
Currently working with MORE Realty, Rick provides sound advice to both
buyers and sellers in Washington, Clackamas, Multnomah, and Yamhill Counties.
As Rick tells it, his decision to go into real estate was rooted in his independent spirit and entrepreneurial ambitions:
“My main reason for the career move was self-employment. First and foremost, I strive to serve my clients with excellence and integrity. My goal is to help my clients get what they want. Happy clients are my greatest reward!”
After graduating from Hillsboro High in Oregon, Rick enlisted in the U.S. Navy. After receiving an honorable discharge for service in Vietnam, Rick began a career in sales. In 2005, he earned his Real Estate Broker license and has been working in real estate ever since.
As a native of the Portland area, Rick maintains an in-depth knowledge of the region and the changes and challenges in various areas of the real estate market. At MORE Realty, Rick and his team focus on residential and rural/acreage real estate. Rick's Certified Negotiations Expert (CNE) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) certifications enable him to offer his clients extraordinary service with 24/7 access.
Rick is also owner of Stik Pix, a Real Estate Photography company, allowing him to offer his clients a unique way to present and market their real estate listings. Combining a love of photography with his real estate expertise, Rick has a unique advantage in the market giving sellers a
package deal when they choose his MORE Realty services.
As a leader in his field, Rick keeps a close eye on the prevailing trends in the Portland area's real estate market. In particular, he notes the challenges associated with first-time home buying:
“The first-time home buyer market is strong. There's no question about that, but because the market is so tight, it is difficult to find good, solid homes at an affordable price. So, it is necessary to work with a good mortgage lender and be creative!”
After over a decade dedicated to the real estate industry, Rick shows no signs of slowing down.
Looking to the future, he anticipates staying consistent with his excellent service and continuing to be a light in the industry for his faith and his clients.
